What’s it handy for?
Track conversations happening in Microsoft Teams in real time and turn them into a ticket with the simple click of a button. This allows project management to supply accurate project data with all the associated contextual details.
A few uses for this workflow:
- Minimize instances of context switching between Teams and Jira
- Save time by eliminating copying and pasting message from Teams to Jira
- Track customer feedback as it is being discussed in Teams
- Capture discussions in Teams that might otherwise fall through the cracks in Jira
- Reduce manual errors and communication gap by eliminating the need to leave Teams to perform Jira actions.
To get started:
- Click the three dots icon next to the message you would like to create the ticket from
- Select the “more actions” tab
- Then select “create issue”
