Nextup has joined Appfire!

We are excited to share some big news with you today ... Nextup.ai has joined Appfire in an acquisition (press release) that was completed in October. This is a monumental day for our company and we wanted to express our gratitude to everyone who helped us get here.

First, to our customers who supported us on our journey, THANK YOU! Nextup would not be where it is today without your feedback, ideas, referrals and engagement with our team and our apps. Your success has always been at the heart of our company, and we appreciate that so many of you took the extra step to help us succeed as well.

When we started Nextup.ai, Mike and I had a simple idea to help developers work more efficiently in Slack. With your support, that idea grew into a company with a suite of six products and a network of thousands of customers and partners.

It’s been nothing short of an amazing ride, thanks to our customers, Nextup team and network of mentors! Still, there is so much more we want to do to help you work more productively.

This year alone, our small, but mighty team built, released, sold and supported four new products across Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence, Pipedrive and Jira Service Management. As you can imagine, this rate of growth was a lot for our team to take on. While I am so proud of how our team worked tirelessly to get it done, it became clear that if we were going to be able to keep bringing our ideas to life at the rate we wanted to, we would need more support.

That’s why when Appfire approached us about an acquisition, we knew quickly that this was the right partner to take Nextup to the next level. Appfire is a leading enterprise collaboration software provider that aims to enables teams to thrive and do their best work on platforms like Atlassian, Salesforce, and Microsoft. They boast 730+ employees across the world and have an incredible network of partners.

With Appfire’s expansive talent and business resources, we will be able to expand our product offering to new platforms and create more functionality within the apps you already use. We are excited to bring you new features very soon.

Appfire also aligns with our company ethos of providing hands-on support, so you can expect the same level of access to our team should you have questions or issues. The entire Nextup team is transitioning to Appfire, so you can continue to interface with people you are already familiar with like Logan, Shannon or myself, and have no disruption in service.

To the team at Nextup, Mike and I are beyond grateful for the dedication and passion you show every day. We’ve had the best time growing the company alongside you all - from our late night troubleshooting sessions, to our our epic team retreats to the Azores and Dominican Republic. We truly believe we have some of the best talent (and best people) in the industry and can’t wait to watch you all continue to grow at Appfire!
