What’s it handy for?

Emojis can be easy for your team to remember and a great way to interact with Slack. With the emoji feature, you can assign an emoji to create specific jira issues in certain projects given the configuration you have set.

To get started:

  • You need to invite the bot to your channel to use this feature.
  • Configure channel using quick create
  • Use 🐛 to create a new issue from a single message
  • For Additional issue type mapping you can use quick create
  • You can assign additional emojis to issue types globally or on a per channel basis
