View Jira Issues Assigned to me in Slack

Manage Jira Tickets that are assigned to you and use it as your insight into Atlassian.

What’s it handy for?

This feature allows Jira users to view the Jira issues that have been assigned to them directly within Slack. This integration helps users stay on top of their assigned tasks, view issue details, and receive notifications about changes to their assigned issues, all without having to switch between applications.


A few uses for this workflow:

  • View all ticket information including labels, severity, and linked issues 
  • View Quick actions which allows you to log time, comment, edit and transition issues 
  • View completed ticket history
  • Save time by reducing context switching between Slack and Jira to view or update ticket information

To get started:

  • Add Jira Integration+ app to Slack 
  • Navigate to the Jira Integration + home page
  • Click “change”
  • Click the “select” button next to “Issues Assigned to Me”
